Tiled Effect.
This is a small and simple tutorial on getting a tiled effect, that I commonly use for my layouts. Make sure you have your image ready in Photoshop. I'll be using this lovely picture of Katie Leung.

1. Go to Filter >> Pixellate >> Mosaic. Choose the cell size of how much you want your image to be pixellated.

2. Go to Filter >> Sharpen >> Sharpen More.

And...that's all! If you just do the first step, you get a pixellated image; if you do the second step, you'll get this tile-like effect. It doesn't matter if you do just the first step or both steps - all of these steps are good ways to add a touch of creativity to your image. This is my final result.
